Trigger Warning - bullying and violence against autistic people

Tonight we've seen the awful news about 13 year old Olly Stephens, a young autistic boy who (allegedly) lost his life at the hands of bullies on Sunday evening.

We support so many families on a daily basis who have experienced bullying. Bullying is a very real experience for many - if not all - neurodivergent people. It's not something to be brushed aside or to tell our young people to "just ignore".

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Olly's family and every family who have lost loved ones to bullying. We simply must do better as a society.
