Don't Mess with Parent Carers!

Don’t take any poor practice!!!

We had this email from someone in our membership this week. We could not be prouder.

“Just wanted to let you know that after receiving a shocking EP report, by an “independent” EP, but hired by the LA as part of the reassessment, I did two things:

1. Made a formal complaint about the reassessment not being conducted properly

2. Made a complaint about the EP to the HCPC, because it was obvious to me that her report was about ££ rather than what support my son needs.

The outcome was a reply from the LA and also a response from the HCPC to say they will investigate under fitness to practice!! “

Moral of the story.

Don’t mess with SEND parent carers trying to secure their child’s support.

They''ve got your number and WILL complain and get you in trouble.
