Gatekeepers and wins.

2 amazing wins yesterday for families we have worked with.

1-A formal complaint - not written by us, but by the empowered and amazing parent got a crucial admin error overturned. (After a long Tribunal battle).

2-A family we appealed for yesterday got the news they won in a refusal to assess case. Not only that but the joy of reading the court document was better than a holiday in the Caribbean.

Basically the judge told the LA not to mess around making up crap arguments..

Appeals where things are so clear should not happen, but they continue to. This appeal case was very challenging for a family going through so much, the wait was excruciating, but I am so glad they got the outcome the child deserves.

It makes me sad that it has to happen. Such a waste of time and money that could be spent on supporting vulnerable children.

Not sure how these gatekeepers and decision makers in the LAs sleep at night.
