Special educational needs and disability doesn’t mean they have to be academically behind their peers.
They might be the most popular child in school.
They might be the best athlete.
Follow your instinct. Too often professionals want to use a child’s strengths to mask the challenges they face.
There is a clear path to getting your child the support and understanding they need in school.
It’s not an easy road, but there are very clear rules about what should happen. Later on I’ll do a video explaining more.
