Just wanted to share our news with you....

I used the information you pulled together for me to write to the overall head of our local authority. I outlined all the failings and shortcomings in the process his SEN team had delivered and asked him to look at not only my case but the process as a whole, which was failing to meet the standards set in the SEND code of practice.

He replied immediately and assured me he would look deeply into the issues I had raised. Cutting a long story short, over the last three weeks the LA have conceded on all accounts, reassessing and lifting the funding band and naming the independent secondary specialist school we have wanted all along.

Without the help from you, I know that this could not have been achieved. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for helping me to fight for my sons future. He now has the future we had hoped for him within his grasps and for that I will always be eternally grateful, to you both.
